This is a well written action-packed story, with emotions, surprises, humor, witty banter, romance, family, friendships, and love, which leads to a fun and steamy page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I can’t believe I only have three weeks left to get this right. Our five-year-old twins, Jesse and Kristen, are unique, to say the least. How could they not be? They’re ours.
Last month they wrote letters to Santa.
Jesse wants a black bike, a Harley like mine, so I got a push bike made in its image.
Kristen wants a pink guitar, just like her mom’s. That was easy.
Kat?
Kat’s another thing.
What do you get for the woman who claims to have everythin and says she needs nothing? Something fucking special, that’s what.
Kat’s always at me to spend more time with her and the kids, so I’ve made arrangements for us to go on holiday together from December twenty-eighth to January fifteenth. I’ve booked Disneyland in California. It’ll be warmer out there than here. I’ve even managed to convince Dave, Kat’s manager, to come along so he and his partner, Luther, can babysit, giving us some alone time.
The kids adore them, calling them Pa and Grandpa. Dave pretends he doesn’t like it, but his face lights up whenever the kids go running to him screaming ‘Pa.’
I’m smiling to myself as I walk through the compound—it’s cold with snow covering the ground. I’m lost in my thoughts when a snowball hits me fair in the chest. I look up to see my woman grinning at me, arms in the air as she and Judge high-fived each other.
“What the fuck?” I shout, smiling at her.
“Judge said I couldn’t hit you from this distance, but I did.”
I cast a glance at Judge who’s giving me a shit-eating grin. The fucker knew she’d take him up on it. Kat can’t resist a challenge.
“Did he now?” I ask, pulling her close while taking the stairs two at a time.
“Uh-huh!” Kat turns in my arms and looks at Judge. “You owe me a hot chocolate.”
Judge laughs. “Comin’ right up.”
The fucker winks at me as Kat spins around to face me.
“You know he just wanted you to hit me with a snowball, don’t you?” I growl at Judge’s retreating back.
“What?” asks Kat, feigning innocence.
“Woman, you owe me.”
Kat giggles. “Well, Christmas is coming.”
I cup the back of her head then kiss her. Even after all this time, my woman melts into me. Kat’s hands wrap around my waist, slipping it up under my tee at the back. I growl in her mouth as she lets out a sigh.
I pull back from her. “You keep making noises like that. and Christmas is coming damn early.”
Kat giggles. “Hmmm… I like the sound of that.”
I kiss her deeper, longer, enjoying the feel of her pressed up against me. My cock strains against my jeans. “Let’s go to my room,” I whisper.
“Can’t,” Kat whispers back.
I pull away and look down at her questioningly.
“Sorry, big guy, I’ve got Christmas presents to buy.”
“What? You haven’t finished?” I tease.
“And you have?”
“All the important ones,” I state.
“Ahh… Dane?” I look over to where Bear is standing about five feet from us, appearing uncomfortable.
Without releasing Kat, I quirk an eyebrow then say, “Yeah?”
“Can I talk to you for a moment?” Bear asks.
I kiss Kat lightly on the lips and whisper into her ear, “Duty calls, but I’m thinking Christmas is coming early later tonight.”
Kat giggles then pushes away from me. “We will see.”
I watch her ass as she steps off and retreats inside the clubhouse.
“What’s up, Bear?”
The man has lost over a hundred pounds. Every time I see him, he’s getting smaller. His woman, Shaz, has been good for him. Encouraging him to eat healthier, even exercise, somehow managing to get him to go to a yoga class once a week. We give him shit about it, but he keeps going. As Road Captain, Bear is the best. Now with his newfound energy, he’s excelling. No more boring rides. He always has something special planned for the end of the trip. Last time it was a three-mile hike out onto a glass platform that extended over a gorge—it was fucking amazing.
“That Christmas present you had me organize?”
I take two steps toward him. “Yes,” I say in a clipped tone.
“Turns out it was a bogus travel agency…” Bear’s gaze drops to my feet.
“Meaning?”
“Meaning…” he licks his lips, “… it’s not booked.”
I place a hand on my hip. “I fucking paid for that trip.”
“I know, I know… the credit card company thinks they’ll be able to recover your money.”
“I don’t care about the money, Bear.”
“I know.” His gaze comes back to me. “I’m sorry.”
“Fuck!” This isn’t Bear’s fault. I should have done this myself in the first place. “It’s cool, I’ll book it.”
“I canceled your card. It’ll be a couple of weeks until you get a new one.”
Great. That was my personal card, the one Kat doesn’t have access to.
“Fuck it!” I shake my head while glancing back at Bear who looks like he’s about to lose his lunch. I nod once then say, “I’ll figure something out.”
Bear heaves a sigh of relief. “I thought you’d be angry.”
“I still have three weeks. I’ll make it happen.”
Bear smiles. “I got Shaz’s weeks ago.”
“Yeah? What’d you get?”
The big man goes red and stuffs his hands into his jeans. “A ring.”
“The ring?” He nods, so I clap him on the shoulder. “That’s great, man.”
“I hope so.”
I chuckle at him while we both walk inside.
