What kind of books does Kathleen Kelly write?

I'm probably best known for my motorcycle club romance, but I've also written paranormal MC romance, sports romance, mafia romance and contemporary romance. Whatever world I'm writing in, you can expect strong characters, found family, plenty of chemistry and, most importantly, a happily ever after. (mostly)

Where should I start with Kathleen Kelly's books?

If you're here for the bikers, you have plenty of choices!

Savage Angels MC is my original MC world and a great place to start if you want a big, established series.

Royal Bastards MC: Jacksonville, FL gives you gritty bikers, danger and romance.

Kings of Anarchy MC: Alaska Chapter is darker and brings paranormal elements into the MC world.

Eternal Sins MC, co-written with K E Osborn, goes even further into the supernatural.

And if motorcycles aren't your thing, don't worry. I also write sports romance and other contemporary romance.

Basically, pick the man on the cover who looks most likely to ruin your life and start there. 😜

Do I need to read your books in order?

Within a series, I recommend it.

Most of my couples get their happily ever after in their own book, but the club, friendships, enemies and bigger storylines often continue from one book to the next. You'll get much more out of the world if you start with Book One.

You don't need to read all of my different series in order, though. Choose a world that appeals to you and jump in.

Do your books have happy endings?

Yes... except for one.

I write romance, and my readers can trust me to give the couple their HEA.

I might put them through absolute hell first, obviously. Where would the fun be otherwise? πŸ˜ˆ

But I'm not taking you through an entire book just to rip your heart out and leave it on the floor... except for that one book.

How spicy are Kathleen Kelly's books?

They're open-door romances written for adults.

The amount of spice varies from book to book and series to series, but if you're looking for closed-door romance, I'm probably not your girl.

There's sex. There's swearing. There's violence.

And quite a lot of morally questionable behaviour.

Are Kathleen Kelly's books dark romance?

Some are darker than others, but I wouldn't describe everything I write as dark romance.

My MC and paranormal books can contain violence, criminal activity, danger and difficult subject matter, but at their heart they're romances about love, loyalty and found family.

If you're sensitive to particular content, check the individual book information before reading.

Kings of Anarchy MC: Alaska Chapter is my paranormal motorcycle club romance series set in Alaska.

It begins with Property of Blade, followed by Property of Vex and Property of Prophet, with more books to come.

Expect motorcycles, brotherhood, supernatural heroes, danger, violence, spice and HEAs.

Who is Kathleen Kelly?

I'm an Australian USA Today and international bestselling romance author who's been publishing since 2014.

I write full time from Queensland, Australia, usually accompanied by coffee, cats and fictional bikers behaving badly.

My books have taken me into motorcycle clubs, supernatural worlds, football fields, mafia families and more, but the thing they have in common is romance.

And an HEA. Always... mostly.

Are you actually a biker?

No. πŸ˜‚

I write about motorcycle clubs.

This does not mean you should hand me a Harley and expect good things to happen.

Research is one thing. Keeping a very expensive motorcycle upright is another.

Where do you get your ideas?

I would love to tell you there's an organised system.

There isn't.

Sometimes it's a character. Sometimes it's a scene. Sometimes it's something I see while travelling. Sometimes a character simply appears in my head and refuses to shut up until I give him a book.

The dangerous question isn't really where do the ideas come from?

It's why won't they stop?
